Not shifting while under load????

I have been experiancing a problem with my 02 EC250 lately. When i am accelerating hard, like in a drag race or something, I am finding it very difficult to get the bike to shift. It ussually wont shift into 4th or higher, but last weekend it wouldnt go into 3rd sometimes. I tried using the clutch, nothing. Not using the clutch, still wouldnt go. Finally when i would let off, I would give it another try, and then it would shift up. . Is it my clutch? How do you adjust a hydraulic clutch?

Thanks for any help:)

If its RPM related I'd say clutch drag. Try the Rotella as GG man suggests. You don't adjust a hydraulic clutch, thats the beauty of it. Just make sure there is enough free play at the lever to allow the master cyl piston to fully extend. If it still does it inspect the clutch, and bleed the system if neccessary.

I am probably taking the bikes to a local GG dealer to get them serviced this weekend. But I will also call around to find some Rotella and see if i can't bleed the system and put in that Rotella fluid.

Now if I cant start my bike in gear with the clutch pulled in, that would be clutch drag right? How do i go about getting that fixed? I hope not replaceing the clutch:(
