Old lectron carb on 08 ec200?

I found an old lectron carb in our barn and it looks pretty close to the new ones. The metering rod is a 5-2. Is there any chance this would fit and work on my 2008 ec200? Maybe a bit of a stretch but it?s free so I might as well try!

Call them . I think they offer a rebuild/ refresh .

I use a 38mm Lectron on my EC200. In fact, I used the same carb on my '06 and my '15 model EC200. It is equipped with a 3-1 XL rod. It carburates perfectly.

I measured it and found that it was a 40 mm. So I don?t think it?ll work right
