parts crossover on nissin calipers

hello is my ec 300 (03)share the same front caliper as the cr500(94) as im after some new pistons for my one. i bet gg ones would be cheaper, there both nissin and look the same ? just piston dimensions

Should be the same as a '94-'98 KX250. I keep a '95 around as a parts bastard.

cool thanks, shame need a top triple clamp but the changed it ater 94 i belive

Yamaha YZ250. I had to replace the whole front caliper after a botched attempt at getting the pad pin out! I now use the hex head brake pin.

Are you guys saying the CALIPER itself from those Jap bikes is compatable, or does the whole mount just bolt to the GG fork?

I'm having the same problem on my '06 EC 300, so I'm wondering how easy it is to swap the caliper from one mount to another?

It is easy to remove calipers from the bracket, but I cannot for sure promise that they are identical on mounting. I know that the brake pads are very common between Japanese bikes, so one could assume that the mounting points would match up from the caliper to the bracket.
