Hi is any one having problems getting parts i've been waiting 3 months for a side cover gasket for my 07 ec250 just so i could preload my power valve and its not just my local newcastle dealer, Scotts in VIC had to cut one out of a full kit [ great dealer ] but just after me preloading my valve the starter gears have stuffed up [ 07 problem ] so now i,m needing another gasket and still have not received my first order , So i hope this problem ends as i've had no trouble getting parts for my wifes KTM she love giving me some about this as theres a WAR between GASGAS and KTM in my house and at this stage shes winning .

I've not had ANY problem here in the US. I get everything in one or two days from Go Fasters. I'm pretty sure they ship anywhere. A gasket should be cheap enough to ship...

I sure wouldn't let a gasket hold me up anyway. They're easy enough to cut from a sheet of gasket material. I just did Glenn's preload thing on my power valve and the gasket survived disassembly so I just slapped it back together, but I was planning on cutting one out if I need be.

I know that there was a shortage on those gaskets here in sweden, apparently (according to the importer) caused by a shortage at the spanish factory. Should be fixed now though, or at least it was here a couple of months ago. Maybe the aus importer doesn't place orders so often?

You could also make some homemade ones from thin cardboard... again a temporary option. At least you could ride instead of waiting months. :D

You have more patience than me. :p

Doesn't Spain shut it's factory's down for a month or two right around now.

No need to wait or use thin cardboard.
If you rip the gasket and need to replace it, rolls of gasket material are cheap. An exacto knife and 10 minutes you can have almost any gasket you could ever need.
