Picnic in Jim Thorpe

Hey everybody, Just wanted to let everybody know, in case your in the area and would like to attend. We are having a fundraising picnic at the germantown grove club in Jim Thorpe Pa. Our Nephew Ricky James passed away last month a week short of his 5th birthday, He battled a rare form of cancer since He was 22 months old. This long battle has left the family struggling. We are raising money to help with the remaining cemetery expenses.

The Date is Aug. 14th 12-7pm
Tickets: 11 and under free, 12-20 $10,, and 21 and over $25.
Where: Germantown Grove Club
460 Laurel St, Jim Thorpe Pa.
*Live entertainment by Analog Velvet
*Please bring your favorite side dish or desert to share!!
*Main entrees, beer and soda provided..

Note,, if your coming a distance, or you dont have a side dish/desert a six pack to share would be good too.. as we should have a community ice chest in case the kegs run dry too close to the end to crack another keg open..

I was told this will be tax deductible, but we are not sure how the receipts are to be written and are waiting on help from our CPA lady who does our income taxes.. She is helping with the books to keep it all in order..

Just to update, this saturday is the picnic,, we have lots of stuff donated from local businesses to raffle off and 3 restaurants have stepped up big time and is supplying food.. We now have Trattorias 903, Nicks Lake house, and Mollie Maguires doing the main dishes.. plus of course hamburgers and hot dogs..
Please come out and have a good time,, support a good cause.. and enjoy the town of Jim Thorpe...
