Pipe guard P3 vs pro power

Anyone tried both?

Looking for a good quality pipe guard and read a lot of positive feedback from the P3, however the pro power is quite new, seems strong but not much (to none) feedback from riders.

Mate,
I have not tried the P3 but by all accounts I have heard they still ding pipes bad.
I have however had a propower pipe guard on my pipe since they came on the scene and swear by them. I have bent pipes up to the radiator twisted pipes from endurox stuff and up till now not a sign of a ding.
I definitely recommend them.
They are made very thick and strong and evidently have more carbon fibre = more strength.
Cheers Mark

I have had my p3 for the past few years and it is fine (i do have some small dings through the guard, but nothing major ) and has experienced some seroious rocks in its life, but from what i have gathered it only has one layer of kevlar and the rest is fibreglass, the propower has more layers of kevlar weave (from what i have gathered) so will be my next purchase (it is on my shopping list, but more important stuff at the top of the list - kyb forks!)

Just got a pro power, took some good hits on the weekend and no damage, fits 2015s perfect, same price when you factor in exchange rate and postage.

Jup thats right, however i think it's still a lot of money :p.
I was afraid the pro power was just a markething trick, but is seems to be genuine

Have a ProPower on my 2014 replica. Much thicker than my mates P3.Very sturdy & looks great.

Thanks for all the great feedback on our product guys, it makes it all worth while to see the positive experience people are having. :D

I just ordered one for my 2014 in mid January, was shipped and made it to the USA in 3 days. For some reason USPS sat on it for a week then I got it. Much thicker than the P3 and extends up to the end cone on the expansion chamber, you know the part that hits the ground if you go over sideways, the P3 ends before this point. Fit is great, cost is the same and the customer service at ProPower is excellent. Wasn't sure what was happening with the shipping and sent them an email. Got a response within an hour with an updated response in 8 hrs, then a follow up to make sure it worked out. Also came with a T shirt and a coolie cup for free swag; truly a company you want to support especially since they have the better product. Cost was $170 or so to my door.

Thanks ProPower!

Awesome to hear mate, we threw in the coolie cup because having beers in your garage and looking at your bike is a popular pastime when your not riding it :)
