I've seen the old water trick done and let it freeze and the dented pipe is now back pretty much to normal. Being in MI you still have some cold time left.
I have sent my Messico to them 4-6 times for repair. Every time it comes back looking good. I've bent the head pipe before and it has been returned back to me ready to bolt up!
Yup it works really good with the dresser coupling as it allows for a broader range of pipe fitment(and can contain high pressure with no concerns)and has a thick rubber throat so will not damage pipe end. The hosing is hydraulic line and I use a simple plug clamped on to hydraulic line and wire it to the pipe for safety on the other end. 100lbs on the pipe and a little bit of heat and there good as new. Ill snap a pic of both my repaired pipes.
