over 25 spam posts in the last 10 minutes, and nothing bike related, please ban this jerk!!!
i already sent pms, emails, and tried to call the (not real) phone number
i looked up the address and its listed as an apartment complex, not a business.
its people ike this that make the internet annoying!

i just sent 125 emails (and 30 pm-s) that say the same thing to his email address, lets see how he likes it

I have 3-5 people sign up every day. 40% are spammers - I have to check location via IP address for every person who signs up. I am fairly good about weeding them out at the front end - although I have to admit, sometimes it isn't hard to figure out. e.g. most dirt bikers don't pick a user name like "cheap viagra"...

I missed this guy because most of the spammer registrations come from russia and china right now and he was in europe...

Some spammers are using the forums simply to get search engine rankings - the more you show up on sites other than your own (links) - the higher the search engine will rank your site.

FYI - it is best not to respond to spammers in any way - they want valid e-mail addresses - these can be sold to other spammers.

ohh yeah! i made my own "spammer" account on hotmail just to respam jerks like that!
one time i put my number on craigslist, and still TO THIS DAY i get automated calls from "businesses" that want to "help me sell my item" its ridiculous, i remember when the net was just a source of (mostly reliable)info, but because of its worldwide availability, it has almost become too annoying to use!!
i boycotted ebay after 10 years of use because of spammers making them change the rules into a stupid setup (you have to ship before you get paid now, which is ludicrous) now i only use it for pricing!

I take care of another website and also have the same thing. Some get through but not many. We also try to disguise emails. So far it has worked.
