Ok so lets get this off the bat straight away, I am in no way claiming to be a professional tuner.
I am just someone with a dremel, carbide burr,a few files and emery cloth and lots of patience/and an active mind
So my inspiration for doing this is because I had ported my cylinder for fun/enjoyment/tinkering purposes,i decided that seen as my engine is completely apart now was the time to attack the crankcase so the porting was case matched and gasflowed.
The cases straight out of GG to be honest the casting are pretty rough so now I just needed to take of all the nasty burrs and blobs that were giving the fuel a hard time reaching the Transfer/Boost ports.
1. Marking the areas for work, although I did a little bit more later
(notice the boost port it's shoddy)
2. 1st half std - 2nd half work in progress
3. A nice blob of green paint on the cylinder and hey presto the marks were the porting work is to be carried out.
4. Now we have something to work with.
