Hi everyone, new here- my first post.Has anyone succesfully made their own PV spacer?Just trying to find out if alot of you have done it and if other materials other than aluminum has been used.If so what were the results. Also,I dont know if there is enough intrest in it but any thoughts on starting up a Group Buy where say a machine shop is contacted to make a small run of parts. If enough people want one,a bunch could be ordered at the same time and cost per piece would be kept low.The more the merrier!

I had one on my 99ec200 made of Phenolic. It worked well - my son now has it on his 250. I've thought about making some up to sell if there's enough interest. I could make a small batch (1-9) for about $45-50 each. If 10 or more would like to get one I could make up jigs and get the price down to $40 and include the extra gasket and longer screws as well.

Nice to hear the phenolic is used with good results.Machining one out with my router would be alot easier than aluminum. You guys have a good source for the material?Im itching to get/make one I dont know if i can wait for 10 or so guys to jump in.Thanks for the replies guys!
