PVL ignition

I found out while trying to install a new tank ( it wouldn't fit by the way, because of how coil was mounted ) today that my Gasser has a PVL analog ignition, I'm not sure I understand the repercussions of this but it might explain the light feeling flywheel ?

Any suggestions how to mount the coil so it doesn't intrfere (it's under the front of the tank, not the side )with large capacity Clarke tank???
