I love my 300. I wish Gas Gas would have continued building and upgrading them instead of putting that POS 4T in their quads. As it was, they had a niche market. Everyone builds a 4T quad. It's far better for cross country than any of my friend's quads. I wish I had a GoPro in 2008 when I took it along the continental divide. We left from Monarch Pass and went north starting out on Old Monarch Pass road. Rode over Tomichi and Hancock passes and on to Tin Cup Pass and into Taylor Park. I think it was 118 miles. My buddies rode a 450 Honda, 450 Kawasaki, and 450 Yamaha. All equiped with large tanks. My Gas Gas's five gallon tank was more than enough and on the brutal rocks, the Olins worked much better than the others. I don't have any pictures of that on the web, but here are some shots of our 2007 trip. These are in the Creede area. http://www.flickr.com/photos/hudson_hollow/sets/72157600942430466/
I posted these shots of our 2008 ride. I would love to make that ride again. The TRX450 is parked 90% with the trail in one place. That's not where Todd parked it. That's where it stopped flipping from an endo in whoops. Jimmy's 450 Kawasaki is hanging on the edge in one shot. He had fallen off and that's where it stopped rolling! Fun times! https://picasaweb.google.com/hudsonhollow/Colorado200802#
