Rad shrouds

Well I already ripped off and lost the lower right rad shroud on the new 300. Has anyone bolted their shrouds on? If so how'd you do it? Should i get a new 1 from my dealer or order from gofasters? Its $54.69 shipped from gofasters. apparently i was smashing the thermostat into the back of the radiator with my knee after the shroud came off as its all bent up. Do i even need that thermostat or can i remove it and just replace it with a piece of hose?

Also has anyone installed radiator braces on there XC/EC? I think they're necessary considering i bend the crap out of my right radiator and didn't even crash.

Force rad guard/braces are on mine. Scorpion make good ones too. I have drilled and ziptied my shrouds and have not had a drama yet

I'm not sure if he is ready to mass produce them but Twowheels at PlusOnePerformance makes up a pretty nice set of guards that the shrouds bolt to.
