Hi,
Just wondering if the 2012 radiators are the same as the 2007-2011 radiators?
They do look the same from what I can remember but I want to be sure.

I believe the 12/13 rads are slightly narrower, but I think everything else is the same. The 12/13 Emperor rads guards are a different part number than the earlier ones.

Yes but I think that is because of the pop in OEM shroud mounts that need clearance holes in the frames for the '12. I think they are the same. All rads changed a little in '07 when they went to Behr from KTM, but they still interchange. I can look closer at both my bikes tomorrow.

No.
The 12/13 are wider.
I had Scorpion 2011 guards and only way to fit was to add washers.

Thanks everyone.
Therefore if I do buy 2011 radiators they would still fit in the 2012 scorpion radiator guards .
I also wanted to make sure the hoses all came out at the same places.
Glenn, if you could check mate that would be great. By the way, the new sub frame looks sweet.

Well I hate waiting for answers myself, so I went down to the garage and measured the '12, '07, and a brand new '12 spare. All measure 130mm across the outside of the tabs, so they are the same. These are all straight rads in perfect shape.

Glenn - I wonder if there are different size ones out there.

When I had problems on my 2012 I had talked and emailed with Steve at Emperor Racing and this was his remarks.

[FONT=&quot]The rad frame was changed for 2012 so if they had to modify it is probably a 2000-2011 frame you have. The cross bars were also made a little longer for the 2012-13 as the radiators were slightly wider so that would explain the tight fit. I would put a flat washer between the plate and the cross bars to allow a little more space so it is no longer rubbing.[/FONT]

Hmmm,
Maybe this is why mine was rubbing and a reasonably tight fit.
I will do the above when I get my new ones.
