Re-sleeving the 2 stroke barrel

Has anyone re-sleeved their barrel on the 2 stroke, if so what problems have you had and is it better than renicoseal

'Re-Nikasil' and nikasil has numerous benefits over a steel sleeve, heat dissipation, very low wear, better oil retention allowance of closer tolerances etc. Better off just getting it plated. Mine is away, I think it's the first time it's been done and was only 0.03mm oversize!

80s technology. Get it replated. They can fix most damage before plating. Heat transfer and wear is much worse with a sleeve.
