Right Side Electrical Wire ???

This may be a dumb question....but oh well.
What is this device just behind the right side radiator?

To me it does not seem right that it is just hanging there.....??

Voltage regulator. The tab bolted to the frame was its mount. Tie-wraps to the rescue.

Mine broke off to .I just zip-tided to rad hose, and no not so tight as to cut of circulation of coolant.

I did the same.
My other concern was that it may be damaged or not operating correctly. But should be all good.
