Sachs shock rebuild.

I currently have my shock stripped down to carry out the mod's to cure the known fault with lack of damping. I thought I'd take a look at the valving whilst it's apart. I was surprised how easy it comes apart and it seem very well engineered with no sings of wear, the only thing I could criticize are the rough flashing/burrs on the piston ports, I will smooth this out before it gets refitted.

I recorded the valving for you comment.

Anybody have any comments? What oil is best to use?

Thanks for looking;)

Les is already giving him advice behind the scenes via me.... He doesn't give me valve spec info and he doesn't give it out over the internet either...

The shock oil to use is Spectro Very Light Shock Oil - I am not sure what equivalent is available in the U.K.

Sent you a PM with my valve spec guess...
