I'm changing the oil on a friends sachs shock and can't remember the depth the rez piston should be set at.
Does anyone have that info???
TKS !!!

Yeah- fully extended.

We have a tool that holds the floating piston in place while we do everything else. You'd really just like to have about 7mm of fluid in the reservoir when you're done- so mostly nitrogen-

The most important part is to make sure that the floating piston DOES NOT BOTTOM OUT in the reservoir when the shock fully extends.

Penske has a GREAT manual on bleeding shocks that works for about everything.

Staggeringly good information in here. Yes, we're a Penske dealer, too.
