I recently split my cases. Unfortunatly, life impeded the progress resulting in my obvious mistake.
After putting the engine back together, the shifter has to be rotated much further than normal to shift. I was just shifting by hand an rotating the counter sprocket, but it appears that the transmission shifts into neutral, 1st, and 2nd its just the the shifter has to be "thrown" much farther than what it should to shift.
I'll be taking the clutch side cover off and splitting the cases, if necessary, again tommorrow to figure out was is wrong. I was hoping maybe someone would have some insight as to what could be causing the problem and what I should be inspecting.
Thanks,
Josh
