Shiver 45 rebound adjuster knob?

Now that I've decided to lose my risers, does anyone make a rebound adjuster knob for the shiver 45 as I can't get at them with a screwdriver? And how does the bloody screw come out?

Great question! I also noticed that the rod that the rebound adjuster screw contacts (under the cap) has no spring pressure against it in either leg. Should it have some resistance when it contacts the adjust screw? Or is this the same on your bike?
