a wee bit of a spin off from the Boot resole thread....

After my brake pedal ate my Alpine Stars boot sole I bought a pair of Sidi Crossfire boots. Put them on to find them soooo light and more flexible than my Tech 6`s......also I have just replaced the sole myself as it screws staright off (half the price of the Tech 6 soles)and the new one back on...no need for a trip to the cobblers and waiting!!!!...all parts that screw off are replacable from the dealer and they even come with spair screws and ankle pivot pins and circlips.....I can even see scuff marks appearing on the plastic screw on ankle protector for the kick start.....try the website to have a wee peep at them.....

:D

I have a few month old set of Sidi Crossfire TA boots (regular sole). They are great boots. Overall, they are far better than Tech 8's and marginally better than Oxtar TCX Pros. They are easy to move around in and provide excellent foot and ankle protection. My feet have taken some very hard hits and I barely felt anything. They are easy to buckle and have plenty of room for knee protection.
