SKF Fork seals

Ryan,

Why don't you try Synergy seals. They're good stuff. Rob, the guy that owns Synergy bought that used 300 six days from your dad. I have used his seals in the last two bikes (KTM and GG) and they work good and don't leak.

I work for SKF and have a hard time getting a hold of the Fork Seals. All the seals in the US come through one point (MX tech suspension). I know he sells 'em to other places, but if you're having a hard time getting the seals, I'd start there.
Good luck!

Thankyou.
Our newest seal will be coming out in 5the weeks. Our new material is slicker than SKF.
All SKF seals are a direct copy from nok. All theyI did wasyou change materal. I have many reports of forks building up with air.

We have been developing fork seals and shock seals for ten years know.....specifically for off road. We have paid very close attention to detail. Our lip design is against air build up....does not like it....so it don't do it.

After taking my bike out for a good ride on Sunday with synergy seals fitted and I was amazed to find there was no air in the forks at the end, this is a first for me .. ever in all my years of riding

Rob, will that new seal also be available for the new 48mm zokes?

It should fit fine. The new zones are pretty new to the market. We have not had a set to test yet.
I can say they work beautifully in the wp and sachs and kyb forks

I wish I had some zones to test. We are finished testing....all of our test seals are being tested...with awesome results.

Call Drew Smith at Works Enduro Rider. I have a 2011 300. He just put a set in my 45mm Zokes but I haven't ridden it yet. WER 908-637-6385. Tell him that John C. told you to call.

I have an email from the Zoke guy here in the US that says seals for 48mm Kayabas and WPs will work in the 48 Zoke. I just put a set of SKS seals for WPs in my 48 Zokes on my '11 Nambotin. Forgot that Rob was a GG owner. I will make sure I use his stuff in the future.

Let me tell you a little story about Rob, he probably doesn't remember it but I do.

A couple of years ago, I had a leaky seal on my 06 GG right fork leg. I ordered the seals from Rob. I had used Synergy seals before on my 03 KTM 200 which had wimpy seals stock, I had changed them out with another OEM and they leaked so I tried the Synergy seals and never had another problem on the KTM. Any how, I went over to a buddy's garage, as he was familiar with a wide assortment of forks but had never done Zokes. We get every thing apart and start replacing the seals. During the replacement, I called Rob twice on his cell phone to ask stupid questions. He answered the call and answered my questions and really seemed concerned about the problem I was having. As it turned out, a bad OEM Marzocchi bushing was causing the problem (it was never assembled correctly at the Zoke plant, there is no way it could've been...). I ordered the bushing from GoFasters, who had the part in stock (another plus!) and upon receipt, put the forks back together.

So, yeah, I like Synergy seals, excellent product and excellent customer service! And if you look at the list of sponsored riders that Rob lists in his post, I AIN'T ONE OF EM!!!! (hint hint Rob!);):D
