I wasn't aware of this when I bought it, good thing?
I did also notice that while my 11 had dual front beams and turn signal switches the 13 as a rear brake light but only a single bulb up front - I guess another way to get around EPA import rules ?

Your '11 must have had the clunky "homologation" switch gear on it, but yes, they were sold without rear lights.
The 2012s and 13s have an on/low switch - if memory serves correct they are actually dual-filament, but you need a three position switch to take advantage of off/lo/hi.
Oh yeah, the big do everything and it keeps getting knocked off switch. I am not going to try and make this one street legal, so I like this setup better. I think that I may bypass the key too while I am at it - funny, then it will be just like my KTM Was thinking about pulling that big how-ya-doing-thing and following someones notes here about replacing it with buttons and toggles
