SPOT Messenger - Satellite Personal Tracker

Does anyone have any personal experience with this product; a unit which can transmit your condition (OK, HELP, EMERENCY/9-1-1) and GPS coordinates?

This sounds like a good "peace of mind" product for the spouse as I often ride alone.

I may have to get that for snowmobiling since cell service is really bad in Northern NH.
