No. If you have the old one off, clean up the stem and freeze it. Heat the new bearing and it will drop right on. To get the old one off, pack the hollow stem with crushed dry ice, warm the bearing with a heat gun, and hit the top of the stem on the bench. If its not too bad it may fall right off, worked for me. If the old one is rusted and corroded really bad on the stem, carefully split it with a Dremel tool cutting wheel.
