Steering lock

My steering lock on my EC125 2005 was smashed and a couple days ago when I played with it, it fell out.
Now you will tell me to plug the hole, but now that the key mechanisn is out, I was wondering how to install a new one? I might just do it, would be very smooth to have at the parking lot at the groccery store.
Enduropuro sells a set for gasgas 2010. Is it the same and how does one install it? On the parts diagram there is supposed to be a woodruff key aswell

From memory it is riveted in with an inserted pin.

Been a while, hard to see it under the sealant.

Well hehe that does not tell me too much. Is that something I can do? I dont have fancy tools or so

You have to drill out the brass pin. Insert the key. rotate and remove.

usual method for thieves is just a swift kick to break it, so it is just to deter honest people getting on the wrong bike by mistake. Take a decent lock.

I always carry a real lock but it would be nice to have a steering lock if I am gone for 2 min to buy candy
