Sub Mount for Scotts Stabilizer

Does anyone know if someone makes a sub mount bar clamp for the Scotts stabilizer??... I recently bought a Scotts and want to raise my bars about an inch... I hear that sub-mounting my stabilizer will provide the rise... But I can't find anyone that sells just the sub-mount hardware for GG... I have a 2004 EC 300.

Thanks guys!

Thanks Tim...but do they sell just the bar clamp that bolts to the stock GG triple clamp??...I don't want to shell out $250 for the BRP triple clamp and bar clamp combo...that's more than I paid for the Scotts stabilizer and mounting kit...

Just a hack saw.

You can use it w/ the stock triple clamps. Call them if you have any questions. Very helpful people.

I went through this a few months back, nobody makes a sub mount for an 04. I emailed Protect & he told me he'd never done one for an 04 but if I'd send him my top clamp he'd fix me up, I have Scotts triple clamps. BRP only have them for 05 & up. I spoke to someone there & he told me the frame was different & they didn't make a short enough stem for my bike. I just bought some cheap bar risers & used them to raise my bars to see if I liked them up there enough to send my top clamp off & have a sub mount made. I have to say I like it I just haven't gotten around to sending my clamp off yet.

Mine is an '04. It has the same top clamp as an '05.

No issues or problems and I've had it over a year.

Cool! Where did you get it? Do you have stock GasGas triple clamps? It might be that I have Scotts clamps is why I'm having so much trouble getting a match. I have to say I haven't missed the stabilizer at all, but I'll probably send my top triple out & have a sub mount made by Protect.

I had the same problem, I had an older BRP clamp (same as Scotts). I just used my stock '07 GG clamp with the Protect mount. You will need a Scotts/BRP tower, and you can cut it with a hacksaw and dress it on a grinder.

I have a tower I cut down for my YZ400. It went right on there like it was made for it. The scotts tower I had was shaped funny close to the bottom & couldn't be cut down, so I decided to try the YZ post & it worked. Now to find a stock top triple clamp or send this one out to Protect.

I have the stock 07 triple clamp in my spare parts bin that I could probably sell. I have Ohlins forks so I'm not sure if it has the same size holes for the forks.
