Super unleaded or unleaded

Hello there,I have a gas gas ec250 09 2 stroke and am wondering what fuel you guys are running,the previous owner ran it on standard unleaded but should I be running it on super unleaded,the premix is 2% that I'm using ?

You need to try to run ethanol free gas most importantly, then you can think about octane. Usually its 90 octane when I buy it in Ga. Then if your racing-add 3oz. of octane booster/gal. You can get that at Advance Auto or Autozone. btw, use the eth/free gas in all your engines like: lawn mower, weedeater, generator, etc. They arent made to use the stuff out of the pump these days.

There is no place even reasonably close to me that sells ethanol free gas. I just run 92-93 pump gas in all my bikes (and tractor, weed trimmer, snow blower, chain saw, etc) and have for the last few years. If I store equipment with fuel longer than a month they get treated with a fuel stabilizer and I drain the carb and have had good success doing this.

Startron in the can right after it comes from the pump. Only problem has been swollen '12 fuel tank but who knows what plastic was used. All else fine, no hard tubing, etc. and jetting seems consistant.
