Talon Clutch Basket TG009

I want to know if this clutch basket will fit a 2005 GasGas 300EC.

According to GoFasters.com the 2000 GasGas 250 and the 2005 GasGas 300 have the same part number for the entire clutch basket assembly

That is pretty confusing, and I would bet its for a trails bike. Did GG even make a 250 Enduro in 96? I don't think they did.
