Tennessee Knockout 12 Amateur Openings Left for Saturday Race

I wish you luck finding someone here who wants to punish bike and body in this circus. If you end up down there, hope you have fun.

Out in this part of the world the extreme events sell out quickly. The off-road events are becoming less and less attended, riders are shying away from the higher speeds ro rather spend the whole day covering 100km

Just look at the attendance at roof of africa, erzberg, romaniacs etc gg needs to get on the show as well

For factory support it would be tough to justify. Even though Noah K I guess is running it. I'd personally be more likely to pay to watch endurocross ir gatd enduro vs a gncc race. But i've been watcjong EWC the past 2 years and love that. Too bad there isn't a US race. But I doubt anybody but me would be there.

Moto, don't know how a ream would work and I couldn't do it this year because its my anniversary. But next year if I plan and we do some riding together I could be interested.

Rod, thanks for wishing me well, I spectated last year and I know it is a beast of a race. That sounds good maybe we could team up next year. I might just go and have the little woman pit for me. We were planning on going to the Pro race on Sunday anyway.

Entry Tickets Sold Out

Well crap, I just went back to pay for my entry ticket and they have sold out, they did put me on a waitlist. I guess I waited too long.

One guy pushes, the other guy pulls :D

I'll carry the water bottle! And provide comic relief.

In all seriousness if we are to do this I will need to work out and prepare. And we'll need to rode together. Lets try to get together this fall and do some riding.

I need to get my kids off to college then I'll be more free.

Sure, that sounds good, here are the amateur row assignments which will give you an idea of how things work at the race. If you have a buddy on the same minute then you have a broken part or mechanical issue it can keep you from dropping out of the race.

I was talking with Chris Birch about why there are not major international races in the States. He said for him it is because his health insurance as a racer covers him for the entire world except for the United States. Something about a litigious society preventing the insurance company from covering him. I assume it is the same for most racers.

The trials guys probably had to get separate health insurance to ride in Arizona.
