The "roof" starts

What a shambles. No communication, most of the riders getting lost in the mountains and being disqualified because of bad marking. All in all a cock-up of note (one of the reasons I left SA).

Last I heard was that Chris had won again.

Chris Birch will be claimed as an Aussie now :p . Well done and congrats to him :)

Well, the saffies are trying to forget losing to IRELAND! So they're having a good bitch about the roof organisation.

In Aus we're trying to forget winning the test against the West Indies 4th team.:p

What's wrong with loosing to Ireland, You'd better watch out we'll be playing you guys soon enough!!!!
Well done to Chris again, bumped into him at Erzberg this year & he's very friendly & approachable. Really looking forward to next years event.

Robs.

.... loosing to Ireland....

So it's true about the Irish and spelling :D

Rob, I got to know Chris quite well when I lived in NZ and I occasionally practiced trials with him and you're right, Chris is a super relaxed and approachable guy.

Kinda funny, being an ex Saffie and Kiwi and moving to Aus, union is small beer here it's mostly league. It's a shock to my system

Rory Mead got second, another excellent trials rider.

I spoke to Chris and Rory last week and Chris wasn't sure if he was going to "The Tough One" in the UK. Lack of funding etc....

But I see that both Chris and Rory are entered.

Chris actually has a chance of winning the Extreme Enduro World Title.

Thanks Noobi,
I have given up trying to find any info on the race in NZ,just following your threads now! If Birchey was playing rugby or cricket it would be a national holiday & bronze statue in Alk.

Yep too rite, but all he gona get here is an increase in ACC levies!

Cheers,excellent article.Ummm.... Aussie haven't claimed him yet?;)
Hey Noobi, can you get him off that pumpkin?
