I have a 93 chevy K1500 4X4 that is currently my sons truck and is not the main hauler. I do however like to use it to pull the 24' with a Razor, 4 bikes, and a quad. The motor only has 85,000 and it is in pretty decent shape although I think the tranny slips from time to time. Certainly a level ground hauler at best for this situation.
Question: I see a LOT of 4l60e rebuilders online with carbon bands, corvette servos, raybestos friction plates and all sound awesome till you do some searching and see almost all of them are badmouthed in different forums.
Are there any of those guys that put out a good to real good product? What would you guys do?
