Anyone know what the voltage reading should be on a 2012 300 e-start at the battery while the bike is running? I'm getting 13.5 v on start-up. After a few minutes of idle the voltage jumps to 14.5, then revving the bike it spikes at 15.1v.
That sounds just about right. Typically mid 14 volts with it peaking around 15 volts. The stock half-wave rectifier may provide a slightly higher peak voltage than a full-wave rectifier. The averaging done by your meter is probably why it looks a bit high. No problems for me with similar readings.
