Wanted 2004 ec 300 Parts

Some of you may have seen my introduction in the general forum but I am a new owner of a wrecked 04 ec 300 and am in need of some parts.


Rear Fender and support
Air Box Cover
Side Panels
Seat Cover
Front Number Plate
Front Fender Brace


I am sure I will find more when I really start to dig into this bike, but it still runs great and just mostly has cosmetic damage. The sub frame was broken but I already have a replacement.

Welcome aboard. As info.... a lot of folks don't run the rear fender support as they feel it contributes to the rear subframe breaking. If you found an older steel subframe it won't be an issue but the aluminum ones are prone to this damage. I don't use it on either of my bikes, never have.

Without it the fender will flail around all over the place with a license plate and fender extension on it. The fender is very weak without it.

I plan to use the bike off-road only. I live in california and you can no longer register off-road bikes as street legal by adding on lights. Since this did not originally come street legal here I am SOL.

I can see how the frame for the fender could contribute to the sub frame damage as the only damage to the one was where that support bolted to. The fender is too far creased/bent etc.. to re-use so I definitely need another one.

Does anyone know if the 03 ec/mc 250 front fender support and number plate as well as other various plastics would fit my 04 ec 300?

Yes, '03-'04 use the same plastics. But the 250's are red.

Thanks. There was a guy on evilbay parting out an 03 ec 250 and he had the front fender support and black front number plate. I dont really want the red side plates or anything but those two should be a direct swap.


What about an 05 ec 300? The reason I ask is because gofasters shows the front fender support at being about 9 bucks. The guy on ebay for the used one off the 03 wants the same price but another 8 to ship. If the 05 stuff will swap directly over then I may just buy new.
