Wanted Counterbalncer shaft gear

Discovered the previous owner removed the counterbalancer shaft gear when pulling the motor apart to do the crank. The rest of it is still there intact.

I would love to make this a counter balanaced engine again.

Anyone have a spare cb shaft gear for my 1998 ec250?

This might also cross over to part MQ300212002 based on my googling. Would be willing to check that out too if anyone has it, think it was on one of the Wild quads.

I wonder if one of the other gears can be modified for this purpose. Maybe the crankshaft drive gear, power valve gear or either of the kickstart gears?

I'm starting to wonder that too. Seems the old parts are like hens teeth.

Not all old parts, but that specific part is like winged unicorn blood.

Thankfully its not a critical part for my rebuild. If I get one someday I can always install it then. Otherwise, the crank goes to the shop this week and parts are on the way, its gonna be like Christmas 'round here soon!

If you balance the crank, your bike will run REALLY smooth.
