Website Back up after upgrades...

Hi All,
For the next week, the site will be unavailable for periods of time as we transition to a faster internet service and swap in a new server.

I will try to schedule downtimes during late evening (west coast U.S.A. time zone) to minimize impact.

When everything is complete - performance should be much improved - but the road may have a few bumps in it along the way.

I will be shutting down the website in an hour or so in order to move things over to the new, faster web server.

If murphy's law kicks in ("anything that can go wrong, will go wrong") - it might take me a day to get things running smoothly again....

The pain is worth the gain - the new machine will be significantly faster - like 50 to 100 times faster...

We're back!

Things are up and running on the new fast server. Let me know if you see any issues or have any problems. I also had to upgrade both the forum software and the photo gallery software - so many things changed...

Still a little housekeeping to do - some graphics (buttons) got overwritten during an upgrade to the forum software as did the nav bar (some buttons missing). Also need to link in the advertising banners, etc. etc.
