What oil to run?

I have a 2002 Gasgas 250EC and was woundering what oil i should run? I have all the Amsoil avalible to me and i do perfer their product. Wich one would be best to use?

In my ’01 XC300 I used the AmsOil Series 2000 2T oil until it was discontinued. Since then I have run AmsOil Interceptor for pre-mix at 36:1.

The best was AmsOil Formula 4 stroke 0W-40, which I have used for most of the motorcycles life.

My '01 XC300 has about 415 hours and 5300 miles of trail riding. It has the original bottom end, transmission and clutch plates. I have run a Rekluse auto clutch installed at 103 hours and 1350 miles. The clutch gets well used. I regularly replace the pistons and rings as a precaution.

I have exclusively used AmsOil Interceptor pre-mix at 36:1 in my ’06 EC300. Here is top end report…

It is a good oil also.
The Series 2000 was replaced by Dominator.

Thanks everyone. I will try the Ams oil 10W-40 oil for now and then go to the 0W-40 after. I am going to use the Intorcepter for mixing. You guys sure are good here.

I also use the Amsoil Interceptor oil at the suggested 50 to1

It was recommended to me by Amsoil to use the Interceptor if your doing mostly trail riding and enduro use. Burns cleaner and less smoke. The Dominator is better more for MX where you are really stringing the motor out allot.
