Wheel X-over

Hey Guys,

This is my first post and first Gas Gas. I am super excited, however, I am curious about wheels. I plan on converting my 01 EC250 over to supermoto but want to save my stock wheels for trail riding. I have searched on here and so far the consensus is that the hubs are Gas Gas specific. I found that Moto520 converted a rear KTM wheel using the Brembo brakes, but he did not say anything about the front wheel or whether the stock brakes would work. Is there any help on this or am I stuck lacing my stock hubs? Thanks very much for your help!

Would you have a link or a part # for the Talon (UK) GasGas hubs?
I have my 98 EC250 set up for the street using 21" and 19" Dunlop
K180 Dirt Track tires. Some day I would like to go with 17"s and some
wide tires.
Cheers, Jeff

GasGas hubs (AJP) are very reasonable, and I have never heard of one breaking in my 7+ years on the bikes. Check this out before going aftermarket.

Well, I just found out that the rear wheel from a Cannondale will fit with no modifications! That means that (though I don't know from personal experience--just from what I have read) a Honda CR250R wheel should fit. The front wheel does not fit. The spacing is too narrow and will have to have spacers made to fit. The axles are the same diameter.

GoFasters website has the parts diagram with prices listed. They show prices for both front and rear AJP hubs. Like Glenn mentioned, they are reasonably priced. I don't want to post GoFasters prices since they subject to change based on currency rates. Please visit their site for prices.

I guess I better call GF'rs. I can't find a parts diagram with the price
listed... I looked at their "Enduro Parts" section and some of the
bikes show a diagram such as this one:
http://www.gofasters.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_383_662
But nothing about part #'s or prices.
Tried a search on 'AJP' with no results found. Doing a search on
'wheel hub' did find a couple hits. For a newer FSR bike.
I am looking for the AJP or equivalent hub for a 1998 EC250. I want
to string up a SuperMoto set of spare wheels.
I guess, spend a dime on a phone call and save a dollar of frustration.
Thanks, Jeff
