Well, I burned up my starter. My fault. If honesty creates freedom, I must admit that I left a paper towel stuffed in the intake (got excited about getting out on a night ride and hadn't finished my maintenance plan 
I overused the starter getting back to camp.
What are your thoughts on a replacement? I have always found OEM to be the best quality, but now that I have a 24v system I think that a less expensive alternative might work. CPD has an S3 brand - does anyone have experience with it? Firepower? DB or Ebay special?
What would you recommend?
