I may be a mid-week rider again, soon. I won't see the final verdict until the week of Feb. 11th. The upside...no crowds. The downside...It'll really screw with Sunday racing. I(cough, cough), may not feel well on specific dates
Despite the bit wet weather we've had, Tahuya shouldn't be too bad. It really starts drying out quick, as we haven't had any good downpours, plus the lack of rain, recently. If you go ride the Hurd road side, for the "good stuff", beware, as there are logging operations in progress. The Howell Lake loop was hammered by downed trees in recent history. The only access to The Howell Lake loop from Elfendahl Pass, is the Tahuya River loop thru Horse Camp, as The Kamenga canyon bridge is still washed out.
I got a new saw, for Ghifford spring cleanup. Onespeed...prepare yourself grasshopper, 'cause your going with us. I figure you, me, & Jon will be the GG cleanup crew. We'll only have 2 directions of travel...Up and down
