I would not rotate the filter while cleaning.
The water will have dirt suspended in it that gets introduced to the clean side of the filter.
are you using the red oil or the green oil? My bike seemed to run too rich on the green stuff, so I'm back on the red. Maybe putting too much green stuff on? Any opinions out there?
PS love the no-toil oil as well, although there is a video on youtube showing that water passes through the notoil oiled filter much easier than with normal filter oil, i guess this would only apply to pushing a dead bike through a deep river, with the engine running both will suck the water through
And to appease the bunnyhuggers it may be wise to mention that it is biodegradable so there is no problem with pulling the plug and letting it all flow down the drain
I use the Belray and clean with premix. I used to use the no toil but always oxiclean from Costco instead of the no toil cleaner as it was way cheaper.
