WTB Foot Pegs

Thanks but I just put on a new set of Pivot Pegs foot pegs.Rode it around yard a little bit. Different feel but I think I will like it.Thanks anyway.

One of the best things I've done to my '07 250. At first I thought it felt weird, but after I got used to them, I never want to ride without them. I fianlly found the secret to help me stand more with confidence and less fatigue. Forget high bars and submounts, I'm back to low bars, stiffer fork springs, and a more foward, aggresive position with these. Great stuff!

I also like the Pivot Pegs however they do tend to pack with mud quite easily. Doesn't seem to hurt the grip in any way though and it took me all of 10 minutes to get used to them. There really isn't all that much movement to these pegs so I can't understand why some people can't get used to them.

A little tip...I recently pulled mine apart for cleaning and re-greasing. Pivot Pegs use 1 small o-ring on the inside and 2 small o-rings on the outside for sealing. They are very wimpy and delicate IMO. I went to the hardware store and found some slightly larger (thicker) o-rings that still fit. 1 on the inside and 1 on the outside this time (not 2). Greased everything up really good and put em back together. The action of the pegs was now much tighter (would not quickly return to center) with no slop at all. After one ride they now pivot perfectly as the o-rings bedded in still with no slop and better sealed IMHO.
