He is correct, S3 does make a cylinder/piston kit.

The only track I've ever been to in the States. Did a road trip there with a bunch of friends way back in the 90's. Great track especially when all the pros were there.

Fairly sure I saw a GG trials bike last night in a commercial for (I think) Designer Shoe Warehouse, it was only there for a second or two.

I have been using Amsoil 0W40 with good results. Good feel and no squeal!

Looks like some good riding there, I live across the province from you and have looked at the map and wondered if there was any riding around there. Also nice choice of toys! I have similar tastes. EC300 and a '14 Polaris Assualt 155``. Might have to explore that area sometime.

Was born and lived there for 20+ years, I still try to make it out there in the winter to get some riding in. Where was the race? Cat Lake area?

I voted 300 but honestly I have never tried any of the others! Ive ridden my friends 2010 EC300, my 2011 EC300 and my 2013 300 Raga.

I really like the seat cover, would match my truck seats!

Hey Corey, i have a 38mm cast Smartcarb that I finally had a chance to install this weekend. The bike (11 EC300) started up after about 6 kicks and idled. I took it down the driveway a couple times and seemed good, geared up and went for a short (5 mins) ride and the bike ran fairly good...

Did as John suggested and sent S3 an email and got a fairly quick response. The response I got was that GG made the flapper in 3 different sizes! Suggested I remove material from the cylinder or flapper to make it clear! :rolleyes:

Correct me if I am wrong, but the stop points would be controlled by the bolt head stopping the movement at fully open and closed? The material needed to be removed would be a very small amount on the uncoated side of the cylinder. Returning the cylinder would be costly ($150-$200) with two way...

After taking a few minutes off and returning to it, I have realized that the flapper can not fully recess in the open position. S3 didn't machine enough material out! If i were to take a Dremel and try to get a little clearance do I risk damaging the cylinder coating? Really don't think I...

Trying to put the power valve assembly into a new S3 cylinder...I cannot seem to get it right! After many, many, many attempts I keep ending up with the index for the triangle piece on the wrong side of where it needs to be. The assembly will only rotate a small amount. Remembering taking it...
