    Bound to happen

Not good. I did something similar 3? years ago. The physio said 12-18 months to be back to normal. She was right. But now I'm back to approximately the speed I used to have befoe it happened. Things take time, at least for me aged 64 now. I hope you heal up well.

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Found another bolt and put it all together again. Did my first ride on it yesterday, it seems to work well. The new Radius CX clutch is a bit different from the old EXP 3.0. It engages earlier and slips less. Some of the clutch slip I am used to, was probably due to the EXP 3.0 being worn (the...

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

I can now confirm that the EC200 crank bolt has a normal right-hand thread. When I turned it counterclockwise with the impact wrench it came off whisky problems. I had, however, created a few metal savings with my attempt to take it off clockwise. The crank is fine, but the bolt has been damaged...

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

I found this on thumpertalk: https://www.thumpertalk.com/forums/topic/1404455-ec200-2003-crankshaft-seal-replacement/ This suggests thats it a normal right-hand thread. Back into the workshop, then...

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Yes, I thought so. But I'm unable to move it 😡 My impact wrench won't do it and neither can I even if I lock the clutch basket and use a 50 cm long crossbar on the 17mm socket. The workshop manual for 250/300 says "Attention: the crankshaft locking nut loosens to the right" which should suggest...

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Clutch basket arrived yesterday. To my surprise, it included the gear for the crankshaft. I guess it is wise to replace them as a pair. Hence, I drained the fluid and removed the water pump and RH side cover. However, my youngest son has borrowed my cordless impact wrench so I could't get the...

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Wow! 30 hours in a month! I have used almost 10 years to get to my 500 hours.

What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Trying another revival of this thread. This forum is quite low-volume now, so we need some postings ;) After 500 hours of use, my clutch is getting pretty worn. It has a Rekluse EXP 3.0. Everything is worn. The basket is very sloppy on it's cushions, I can move it perhaps a mm sideways...

    EC250 2T Dying after starting

Are you sure its the ignition that's to blame? Could it have to do with the carb? How is the ground connection for the coil? I had something similar once and traced back to a rusty ground connection for the coil.

    2018 300GP wont start

I must say that I have never serviced a Gasgas with electric starter, but I do have som experience in the field of MC electrics... I presume there is a starter relay somewhere. As it starts on the kickstarter, the ignition and its wiring is OK. It's the starter and its circuit that is to blame...

    Strange carb settings

I had similar problems when I bought my 06 EC200 back in 2009. It's an expensive solution, but I put a Lectron on it. Worked wery well. When I bought the 2015 EC200, I moved the Lectron onto that one. Now, my 2015 is close to 500 hours, the Lectron is still with me and working as good as it did...

    Gas gas ec125 2005 electric

The last two wires, are they the white and yellow ones? They are what is named AC on the schematic.

    New stator not working

Is there a battery on your bike? I have a 2015 EC200 which I presume have approx the same electrical setup. I have no battery, only a capacitor where the battery could have been. All my electrics are DC, even the light run on DC. Is that the same in your bike? If you have no battery, I would...

Polisport led headlight gasgas ec 125

As long as you have the regulator in place, I think it will work. The regulator should ensure that the AC voltage doesn't go too high.

EC300 2010 lights and kill switch

I don't remember exactly, but perhaps the flywheel has a left-hand thread? Its not uncommon. I would not recommend using anything other than a proper puller with the corect threads.
