    EC300 2004 Rear Mudguard?

I need to order a replacement rear mudguard for my 2004 EC300. What years are compatible? I've seen a 2006 advertised, is that the same? Thanks.

    EC300 feels lazy...

Thanks everyone for the pointers, I'll take a look in the next couple of days. All the best, Dave.

    Many thanks.

    EC300 feels lazy...

2004 EC300. Starts and runs fine, plenty of power at low RPM but just feels lazy to get 'on the pipe'. Will get on the powerband but have to slip the clutch a bit to liven it up. I'm pretty sure the carburetion is dialed in. Going to remove the clutch cover and inspect the powervalve...

    Clutch cover removal?

2004 EC300. I need to remove the clutch cover to have a look at the power valve mechanism. Do I need to dismantle the water pump first? I can't remember. Thanks.

How many clicks? 2004 EC300 Ohlins shock?

Hi all. My 2004 EC300 has a Ohlins rear shock. The manual states that I should have a full range of 60 clicks on both the compression and rebound damping. I can get 60 clicks on the bottom adjuster (rebound) but I can only get 28 clicks on the top adjuster (compression). Is that correct or I...

    Triple Clamp Bolts Torque?

Hi Jeff, yes that's the Torque Table I was talking about. But it list the bolts as M8 and mine are M7.

    Triple Clamp Bolts Torque?

Hi all, I have a 2004 EC300 with Marzocchi forks. Can anyone tell me the correct torque for the triple clamp bolts? I'm confused as the Torque Table states 20Nm upper and 16Nm and lists them as M8 bolts, but mine has M7 bolts.

    Lazy Powervalve?

Thanks for the suggestions. I recently removed and cleanly the Powervalve assembly. It all moves smoothly and freely. I'll try one step leaner on the main jet, if it's still the same then I'll remove the clutch cover and see what's happening at the governor end. Cheers, Dave.

    Lazy Powervalve?

Loving my 2004 EC300. I spent quite a bit of time getting the jetting dialled in and I'm very happy with the carb now. Now I feel the power valve is a bit lazy. Loads of bottom end grunt but if I hold the throttle open it seems to take a while to really scream, it gets there eventually. If I...

Power valve end play, side to side movement, rattle...

Hi JAD, it's been a while. Now I've seen the drawing you posted, I'm pretty sure that the shim/washer you arrowed was missing. So I guess I have just replaced what should have been there in the first place! Anyway it removed the excessive play and eliminated the horrible rattle. All the best...
