    Clutch Master

Check your basket isn't too heavily grooved. I found if I ran Motul Transoil std it was hard to start in gear. But Motul Transoil Expert. Perfect, never a problem since.

Gas Gas EC200 Swing Arm Bolt

As above. Heat gun. Penetrative spray. Make sure you put it back in same way.

    Traitor. Burn him. He's a witch. . . . Other brands available.

    Bottom end

A word of warning. I used to buy old engines for my racing when I started. Bottom would always fail. If they get left micro rust on big end will cause failure later. So always best for new rod and bearings for a long life.

    EStart button

Good work. Lots of things you are just connecting to ground to complete the circuit. 12v will be delivered to the item. Contacts are usually brass and to tarnish after time but terrible environment on a dirtbike. Aftermarket single waterproofed switches are better than road based multi...

2005 EC200 Continual RH Crank Seal Failure

Good to hear. Plug reading is a roadrace thing. Only relevant for wide open and must kill engine and coast to check. Thus ignore it and jet on throttle response. Always consider throttle position in relation to jets. You can of course try winding the mix screw out and then change pilot if not...

2005 EC200 Continual RH Crank Seal Failure

I have some Belzona somewhere, but that's fantastic news of why. I'd rough the whole well and flood it with JB Weld or Devcon. I've used both reporting race engines in areas multiple times hotter than that. As long as you have a good surface to hold onto and brake clean 5x then it will never...

    EC300 2008 FEELS Weak help

Ok I had to guess that. Details help. There is a ISDE model with black pipe and no cat. But not common. The Cat is located in thickest part of pipe. It is like a painting mask filter on a flat plate. If you take the muffler off (check perforated tube hasn't collapsed and repack it with proper...

    EC300 2008 FEELS Weak help

You are pretty sparce with details. In your other thread you make it sound like you use it on the road. I'm guessing Europe to do that. Putting on my psychic hat, did it come with a black pipe fitted? To meet euro emissions they have a pipe with a Cat. NZ ones get shipped with both pipes but...

    EC300 2008 FEELS Weak help

Well it's hella old so anything could be wrong with it. I've just sold my 2007 and it is going strong. Obviously after service the consumables like plug filter and repack the muffler that can collapse. Check compression. Power valve movement and the carb clean as blocked jets are no fun, or...

    Bound to happen

Well good news. Tell your boss you'll stay at the bottom and dance instead of climb. Suppose all those jokes are well old, sorry 😞 its my first chance. Thumb is aching after a road ride. Been getting there i thought with physio. Fell into a rut (literally) and bent it back. Last two laps I'd...

    Bound to happen

Oh,thought you meant you were driving a quad (can't ride one,) but then realised what you meant. Bummer. Heal well. I'm 3 month into a simple thumb sprain. Just have to get best help you can and ride it ou. . t without actually riding it out.

Need a front axle and bolt for my 2003 EC300

Don't do it. The pinch bolts are nipped up to center the axle vs wheel. The bolt is torque up much tighter. Snapping an 18mm bolt is crazy?!?

2013 EC200 spark plug boot NLA?

Used the blue NGK silicon caps ,originally for jetskis but most bike shops carry them. Well, over here. 5k and fairly impervious to vibration. You won't lose spark power with the std cap resistance.

    EC250 2T Dying after starting

Stators have a lifetime. As insulation breaks down they work when cold and start internally shorting. If you got keen you could measure the resistance then put it in a heat chamber and measure again.
