The MC models may not have the balancer?. On the second picture. The small dot indentations on the gears should align up. The MC may also have a different stator assembly. This one is a Ducati system.

I believe, but, can not confirm. The 6 speed transmission from the EC250/300 will fit into your MC250 - 4 speed. I believe my 1998 EC250SM started life as an MC250. It has the 50mm Marzocchi forks, and I believe the EC had the 45mm forks. I did not convert the 4 speed to 6 speed. Steve...

Not that you asked, but, the wiring harness I recently purchased was BE250334004 for the Rieju models. I got it from Matto Cycle. To get a brake light you would not need to do the AC/DC conversion I mentioned above. I suppose you could tap into the existing harness and make your own harness...

Likely your 2002 GasGas300 is either the XC or DE model if sold in the USA. It did not come with the full wiring harness for the brake, turn and lighting. This is how my 2002 XC300 was delivered. It came with a 2K2 stator and not the 2K3 stator of the EC300 model. I bought the complete...
