Also the 99 bikes have a tab under the seat instead of a bolt hole in the tank to hold the shrouds on. I suppose if you were crafty you could either use a screw or put an insert in and run a bolt but you would need to ensure it was sealed properly!
GMP, once I sort out my garage issue, I may ask you to bring your 07 over to do a dry run and test what will fit on my 97 from it. Would be nice to answer some of the nagging questions.. like will the tank really fit, subframe etc...
