06 ohlins rear shock Clevis

Hello all, during my routine maintenance I?ve noticed that lower clevis on the rear shock gas broke off. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Or maybe try to weld it?

I have been able to source Ohlins parts through Steve Beane at After Hours Cycles, http://www.afterhourscycle.com/.

I have had him send me valving pistons, seals, seal heads, reservoir pistons, reservoir cap, etc., for the Ohlins which came on my 2002 EC 300. My guess is that he can find you a new one.

Not sure of the AL alloy used on that piece - hard to say if it can be welded.

Someone with a mill and a lathe could make one, but it might be cheaper / quicker with Steve Beane.

Steve is a member here, and he formerly sold GasGas before the "drama." His handle here is "twowheels" and he is a great guy. I have him chasing some Ohlins TTX parts for me as I type.

He's not been on this site since 2020, so it's probably best to contact him through the website listed above.

Common problem unfortunately, the last one I tried to get was NLA from ohlins. We ended up welding it with no issues.

Thanks for the help everyone. I ended up getting it tig welded, it held up after a short ride (maybe 10 miles) so I think it?s fixed for the time being. As stated the original clevis is discontinued, I called ohlins and they said I?d have to send my shock to them so they can modify the internals to fit a different clevis which would be about 250$ for that and a rebuild/service.

And also this model shock is the GG4820 ? found on 04-11 ec250/300. I have the spec sheet and parts diagram if anyone needs them I can send them your way.
