So here's the 06 300 I picked up locally. It needed a 4th gear so while I was in there I did new crank bearings, seals, etc. anyway, I have it back together other than the piston. That hasn't shown up yet.
I have a quick question. It has a smaller stator in it, and when I pulled the bike apart, it only had 1 screw in it and it was backed nearly all the way out. So I have no idea where the timing was set, and there are no marks on the case to line it up with. Anyone know how to set the timing?
